POWERply 2PM is designed for use in hot or cold applied modified bitumen systems where a polyester reinforced membrane is desired. The SBS modified bitumen accommodates live load stress and thermal cycling, while the reinforcement helps provide excellent durability and fatigue resistance to both thermal shock and mechanical damage.  The thickness of each POWERply 2PM membrane, precisely controlled at our factory, ensures uniform protection throughout the roof.  Hot applied POWERply 2PM membranes do not require the use of torches, thus reducing the risk of fire and membrane degradation.

Composition:

POWERply 2M is a smooth surfaced, asbestos-free modified bitumen membrane. It consists of specially selected bitumen, modified with compatible SBS elastomers and reinforced with a non-woven polyester mat.  POWERply 2PM exceeds the requirements of CSA A123.23, Type B Grade 2 and ASTM D6164, Type I, Grade S.
