Mitchell Joins Alliance Board Of Trustees

BEACHWOOD, Ohio (December 2, 2015) – Tremco Roofing and Building Maintenance is proud to announce that Paul Mitchell (RRC, RRO, CDT), who manages the company’s strategic initiatives and alliances, has been appointed to the Board of Trustees for the Roofing Industry Alliance for Progress (The Alliance). Mitchell is filling an open trustee position; his term runs until May 31, 2017.
Mitchell has been involved with The Alliance for years, an active participant in a number of their programs designed to move the roofing industry forward on a number of fronts. Known for his commitment to the industry, Mitchell previously served on the Center for Environmental Innovation in Roofing board of directors, where he was involved in the launch of RoofPointTM, a voluntary, consensus-based green rating system.
“It’s an honor to be named to The Alliance’s Board of Trustees,” said Mitchell. “I’m looking forward to working with my fellow trustees to enhance The Alliance’s visibility and its goal of creating a stronger and ever-more philanthropic roofing industry.”

The Roofing Industry Alliance for Progress was established within the National Roofing Foundation (NRF) to create an endowment fund to serve as a highly focused resource for the roofing industry and its customers. The Alliance's objectives are to conduct research and education projects that support high-quality programs for roofing contractors; ensure timely and forward-thinking industry responses to major economic and technological issues; and enhance the long-term viability and attractiveness of the industry to roofing workers.
